ANGLIA Academy Announces Major Campus Expansion
ANGLIA Academy is thrilled to announce a significant expansion of its campus facilities. The $50 million investment will include the construction of a new state-of-the-art science and technology center, as well as the renovation and expansion of the existing library and student center. "This campus expansion is a testament to our commitment to providing our students with the best possible learning environment," said Dr. Andy Lau, President of ANGLIA Academy. "Our goal is to continuously enhance the educational experience and prepare our students to tackle the challenges of the 21st century." The new science and technology center will feature cutting-edge laboratories, collaborative workspaces, and the latest equipment and software to support the growing demand for STEM education. The library and student center upgrades will provide students with more study areas, meeting rooms, and recreational spaces to foster a dynamic and engaging campus life. Construction is slated to begin in the fall of 2024, with the new facilities expected to be completed and operational by the start of the 2026 academic year.
ANGLIA Academy Students Shine at Annual Awards Ceremony
ANGLIA Academy celebrated the outstanding achievements of its students at the annual awards ceremony held on campus. The event recognized students across various categories, including academic excellence, community service, leadership, and extracurricular accomplishments. "We are incredibly proud of our students and their unwavering dedication to excellence," said Dr. Sarah Lee, President of ANGLIA Academy. "Their achievements are a testament to the transformative power of our holistic educational approach, which nurtures not only academic prowess but also personal growth and social responsibility." Among the notable award recipients was Jay Fung, who was honored with the prestigious Valedictorian Award for her excellent results in the most recent Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination. Jay also received the Outstanding Community Service Award for his tireless efforts in organizing local food drives and volunteering at underprivileged schools. The ceremony also celebrated the accomplishments of the school's sports teams, with the men's basketball team receiving the coveted Championship Trophy for the third consecutive year.
